Who We Are
More Than a Driving School
Uptown Driving School was founded by Bhupinder Dhaliwal, a professional driver and instructor who believed that most driving schools were teaching to the test — not teaching people to actually drive safely.
We built our curriculum around real-world driving skills: hazard perception, defensive techniques, and the confidence to handle unexpected situations. The road test pass rate followed naturally.
Today our team of certified instructors serves drivers of all ages and backgrounds across Greater Vancouver — from teenagers getting their first L to seniors refreshing their skills, and commercial drivers pursuing Class 4 licensing for Uber, taxi, and ride-share.

Bhupinder founded Uptown Driving School after years of teaching for other schools and seeing how much a patient, structured approach could change outcomes. He specializes in nervous first-time drivers and commercial Class 4 training.
